So much more than a monthly newsletter!
I mean, it is a monthly newsletter. Sign up and I’ll write to you monthly with “stories that make me snort out loud during my son’s gymnastics class,” tales of feminist rage, poems that you absolutely have to read and other important (questionable) musings on life. You should definitely come read.
BUT also, it’s a journaling community. What’s one of those? I hear you say.
Basically, it’s women having the space and time to get creative, clear our heads and play with words on the page. It’s writing for women who wouldn’t necessarily call themselves writers (or who are looking for time away from the ‘serious’ work of writing!) It’s the sort of journaling that doesn’t require you to be good with a pencil crayon, by which I mean it is messy and real and beginners are welcome. We journal the sh*t out of life.
If you choose to upgrade to a paid subscription (it’s like a fiver a month, I know I’m biased but it’s really flaming good) then not only do you access ALL the content I write (including the personal essays that I definitely wouldn’t be publishing all over the internet) but also journaling workshops, and prompts and more.
Either way, let’s keep in touch. Let’s write to each other.
Want to read and write more poetry? Struggling to find a poetry community? Maybe you're a poetry dabbler, a poetry beginner, a poetry lover, a wannabe writer?
As chief editor and cheerleader over on Poetry Pals, I can tell you that it is the most playful, inspiring and encouraging online poetry community.
